Watergate Salad

In 1975, pistachio pudding was developed by a major food corporation. The recipe for Watergate Salad was originally dubbed “Hawaiian Surprise,” but to increase its popularity, the name of the recipe was altered to refelct the famous political scandal.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. carton of whipped topping
- 3.4 oz. pk. instant pistachio pudding
- 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple, drained, reserve juice
- 8 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Combine whipped topping, pudding mix, and a small amount of juice from pineapple in an 8 3/4 cup /2.1 L Wonderlier Bowl. Blend well with Saucy Silicone Spatula. Fold in remaining ingredients.
- Chill before serving.
- Serve in servalier 4-Pc. Bowl Set.
