Light Pesto

Serves: 1/2 cup
Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, packed
  • 3 tsp. pine nuts, toasted
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 tsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Combine the basil, pine nuts, oil and garlic in the base of the Chop ‘N Prep Chef. Pull cord 5-6 times or until mixture forms a coarse paste.
  2. Add water until pesto reaches desired consistency.
  3. Transfer to a small Wonderlier Bowl and fold in cheese using a Saucy Silicone Spatula.
